Very clean and friendly. Loved that we can take Koda to his kennel. As always, all the kennels were immaculate and there is not the strong smell often found in kennels. Great communication about him while we were away which helped us relax. Will certainly continue to use these kennels again.
Our miniature dachshund had a lovely stay at the K9 hotel. We needed day care whilst we were visiting Folly Farm. The booking was easy and straightforward, upon arrival we were greeted with big smiles, got Dottie settled in, paperwork was easy to sort out, and I was asked all about her feeding routine, etc. Dot was well looked after and happy upon pick up where I was updated on her stay and walks etc. Would gladly use the services again.
Our elderly Patterdale hasn't stayed in kennels since 2019 and I was very concerned about him.
I needn't have worried, the facilities are first class and the staff extremely warm and reassuring.

We have used K9 Hotel many times over the last 18 months and can not fault the care given to all 3 dogs the kennels are well kept and the owners along with their wonderful staff are very accommodating... All 3 dogs are happy to stay with Amanda and her team..... thoroughly recommend for your fur babies
I put my dog to stay with best friends k9 hotel from the 20th - 24th of December 24. Staff were extremely lovely. My dog who doesn't normally like other dogs was kept kept separate to others at all times but seemed really relaxed and happy even with hearing all the other dogs. The facilities were extremely clean and all dogs looked really well cared for. And a sweet little extra they made up little christmas jars of treats for the dogs to take home. My dog loves them :) would definitely use again. Thank you all
We have a nervous Lab and an extremely stupid Lab and they absolutely loved their stay. Treats provided, walks across open farm land, warm and cosy kennels.

Very efficient and clean with top notch facilities and care. Our 2 dogs have stayed a couple of times now and we will certainly be using Best Friends again at some point in the not too distant future.
This was the first time I had to leave my 3 collies in any kennels and I was very nervous about it, especially when one of them just had been neutered and was still in recovery. We had an emergency which demanded that we go to France for 5 days. I explained about the patient to the very kind ladies Amanda and Claire and they were so understanding about keeping a special eye on Carlie and her wound and stiches. The kennels are very wide. We had 2 collies in one and the patient on her own in another, next to the other two. The kennels were in fact in two parts. The''bedroom'' facing the corridor, and the ''lounge'' which overlooked the fields. The bedroom part was heated and kept semi dark to enable sleep. We left details of medicines and diet habit. Everything was followed to the letter. The two ladies are very knowledgeble about dogs and very caring. The dogs were happy to see us of course, but they were not phased by their stay and I think would not have minded too much if they had to stay longer. My first time in kennels for my fur babies has been a good experience with Best Fiends K9 hotel and I would not hesitate to bring my doggies to them again, I would recommend them very highly. The only bad bit is the road leading to the kennels needs a lot of TLC which I am sure will be sorted in due course.

Applicants must be confident and willing to work with all breeds and sizes of dogs and be computer literate.
Duties will include cleaning to a high standard, walking and feeding of dogs and general kennel duties.
Applicants must have experience with dogs and handling and have good initiative.
Employment will be on a part time casual contract with hours through our busy times.
Wages will be discussed at the interview.
Hours will include early morning 0700 to 1100 then evenings from 1530 to 1800 with an occasional 1900 lock up. This will include weekends and bank holidays.

We are out and about again this Sunday. We are back in cothi bridge show ground for the West Wales Poundies Dog Rescue bark fest. This is set to be a good family day out. So march 25 saw us at crufts with the huskies. What can I say Archie stole the show and got 2nd place in a large class with his witchy aka Folkvars witches brew. Qualified for next year at crufts.
